Bookings and estimates

Booking, estimates and customer accounts are provided by the central Junk Koala platform and appear here as embedded tools. When you place a booking or request an estimate, you are contracting with Junk Koala on the terms published at junkkoala.com, and those terms govern the service itself, including scheduling, payment, cancellation and liability.

Estimates

An estimate prepared from photographs or a description is based on the information supplied. Where the actual job differs materially from what was described — significantly more volume, restricted access that was not mentioned, or items requiring special handling — the price will be re-agreed with you before work begins.

Items we cannot accept

Certain materials cannot be collected, including paint, solvents, fuels and oils, pesticides and pool chemicals, pressurized cylinders, asbestos-containing material, medical or biohazardous waste, and ammunition or explosives. These require a licensed disposal route. Crews may decline to remove any item they reasonably believe is hazardous, unsafe to handle or unlawful to transport.

Access and authority

By booking a job you confirm that you own the items to be removed or are authorized to have them removed, and that you are entitled to grant access to the property. For tenant, rental and storage situations, any notice, storage or process requirements imposed by law on the property owner or manager must be satisfied before items are removed.

Availability, including same-day service, depends on the schedule at the time you book and is confirmed in the booking flow rather than promised in advance.
