Construction debris

Construction and renovation debris removal in Dallas

A site that cannot move because of its own waste is a site losing days. This is the alternative to waiting on a dumpster.

When a dumpster is the wrong tool

For a long project generating waste continuously, a roll-off is usually right and cheaper. It is worth being honest about that rather than pretending otherwise.

For everything else it often is not. A container needs somewhere to sit, it may need a permit if it is on the street, it fills with whatever the neighborhood adds to it overnight, and it occupies a driveway for the duration — which on a residential remodel is the same driveway the trades need for their vans.

Junk removal suits the other pattern: a burst of debris that has to leave now. A kitchen strip-out, a bathroom demolition, the offcuts at the end of a flooring job, or the pile that accumulated in the garage while a remodel ran two weeks over.

It also suits sites with no room at all. Older Dallas neighborhoods with narrow lots and alley access frequently have nowhere legal to put a container, and in parts of East Dallas and Oak Cliff the alley is the only vehicle access there is.

Choosing

Roll-off container or a crew?

Both have their place. The right answer depends on how the waste arrives rather than how much of it there is.

Roll-off dumpster

Better for continuous, long projects.

  • Waste generated steadily over weeks rather than in bursts.
  • You have somewhere legal to put it that is not the working driveway.
  • Nobody minds it sitting there, and the HOA has no view on it.
  • You have labor on site willing to load it.

Junk removal crew

Better for bursts, and for sites with no room.

  • A strip-out or demolition that produces everything in one or two days.
  • No space, no permit, or alley-only access.
  • You want the loading done rather than doing it yourself.
  • The debris has to be gone before the next trade starts on Monday.

Weight

Heavy material is priced differently — and that is in your interest

Most junk is priced by volume because most junk is bulky and light. Construction waste inverts that. Concrete, brick, tile, mortar and soil are dense enough that a small pile can reach a truck's legal weight limit while occupying a corner of the bed.

So heavy material is assessed on weight instead. Mention it when booking — a quarter-load of tile and a quarter-load of drywall are not the same job, and an estimate built on the wrong assumption helps nobody, least of all on a day when the crew arrives without the capacity.

  • Site clears between trades so work keeps moving
  • Ongoing removals across a longer project
  • Interior demolition waste carried out from any floor
  • Metal, timber and clean fill separated where possible

FAQ

Questions Dallas customers ask

Can you take concrete, brick and tile?

Yes, but as heavy material priced by weight rather than volume, and often best kept as a separate load. Flag it when booking so the crew arrives with the right capacity.

Do you do the demolition as well?

No — we remove what is already down. Interior strip-out and demolition are a contractor's work; once the material is on the floor, clearing it is ours.

Can you come back repeatedly during a project?

Yes. Contractors often book recurring clears at set stages rather than tying up a driveway with a container for weeks.

What about asbestos?

We cannot take it. Any material suspected of containing asbestos — older floor tile, pipe lagging, some textured coatings — needs a licensed abatement contractor. If in doubt, have it tested before anything is disturbed.

Should I just get a dumpster instead?

For a long project producing waste continuously, often yes, and it will usually be cheaper. This service is for bursts of debris, sites with nowhere to put a container, and jobs where you want the loading done for you.

Can you clear a site the trades have already left?

Yes, and it is a common booking — the last trade leaves, the debris stays, and somebody has to deal with it before handover. Photos give an accurate estimate for that kind of job.
