Curbside pickup
Curbside junk pickup in Dallas
If the pile is already outside, this is the simplest booking we run — and often the cheapest, because the carry is already done.

When bulk collection is not going to cover it
Dallas residents get a scheduled bulky item collection, and for a modest pile on the right week it does the job at no extra cost. It is genuinely the cheapest option available and worth using when the timing works.
The problem is what falls outside it. Your collection date might be weeks away. The pile may be larger than the limits allow. It may contain categories the service will not accept. Or the property simply has to be clear before an inspection, a showing or a closing that is not going to move to suit a collection calendar.
That is when a pile at the curb turns into a liability rather than a solution. It sits there visibly, it attracts additions from neighbors who assume a collection is imminent, and in an HOA neighborhood it starts generating letters. Left long enough it becomes an illegal dumping issue rather than a waiting collection.
Curbside pickup is the fix. You have already done the hardest part by getting everything out; we take it away on a window you choose rather than the one the calendar assigned you.
Why it is simple
You do not have to be there
Because everything is already outside, nobody needs to let the crew in. Leave instructions when you book — which pile, and anything nearby that is staying — and the collection can happen while you are at work.
The one thing worth being precise about is what is not going. Crews will not guess: if a neighbor's items are next to yours, or something at the edge of the pile is staying, say so in the booking notes and ideally move it a few feet clear. A photo attached to the booking removes the ambiguity entirely.
- No carrying, so usually a smaller job than an indoor pickup
- Photos in the booking make the estimate accurate
- Same-day and next-day windows when the schedule allows
- Driveway, alley and curb collections all work the same way

Dallas specifics
Things worth mentioning when you book
Alley or street?
Much of East Dallas and Oak Cliff sets out in a rear alley. Say which, so the truck approaches from the right end rather than the front of the house.
HOA rules
Some neighborhoods restrict how long items may sit at a curb. If you are on a clock, book the window before you drag everything out.
After a storm
Brush and debris piles are heavier when wet and availability tightens for a few days after a significant storm.
Shared curbs
In duplex and multi-family streets it is worth marking your pile, or a photo will do the job.

Questions Dallas customers ask
Do I have to be home for a curbside pickup?
Usually not. As long as everything is accessible from the curb, driveway or alley and the booking notes are clear about what is going, the crew can collect without you there.
How is a curbside pickup priced?
By volume, the same as any job — but with no carry involved it tends to sit at the lower end for the same amount of material. Photos in the booking give the most accurate estimate.
Can you take a pile that has been rained on?
Yes. Wet cardboard and soaked upholstery are heavier and cannot be donated, but they are still a normal collection. Worth mentioning in the notes since it affects the weight.
What if the pile is in an alley rather than at the front?
That is fine and common in older Dallas neighborhoods. Say so when you book so the crew plans access for a truck rather than arriving at the front of the house.
Should I just wait for the city collection instead?
If your collection month is close and the pile is within the limits, that is the cheaper option and worth taking. This service is for when the timing does not work, the pile is too big, or the material is not accepted.
Can you take things from inside as well while you are here?
Yes, though it changes the job from a curbside pickup to a standard collection since the crew is then carrying. Mention it at booking so the estimate and the crew size are right.
