Storms and seasons drive most of these calls

North Texas weather sets the schedule. A single line of storms through Dallas can put more brush on the ground in an evening than a year of ordinary pruning, and it lands on everyone in the neighborhood at the same time — which is precisely when municipal brush collection backs up and a wait of several weeks becomes normal.

The other peak is early spring, when a season of dead growth gets cut back at once and a yard produces far more volume in a weekend than the bins can absorb in a month. Bagged clippings stack up beside the house and then sit there through the first hot spell.

Both are volume problems rather than difficult work. The material is bulky rather than heavy, it loads quickly, and a truck clears in one trip what would otherwise take a dozen bin cycles. It is one of the few jobs where the difference between doing it yourself and booking a crew is measured in weeks rather than hours.

The exception is anything with soil in it. Dirt, sod, brick and broken concrete are dense enough to hit a truck's weight limit long before the space runs out, so they are assessed on weight and are best mentioned separately when you book.

Worth knowing

Bagged is denser

Bagged waste packs down better than loose brush, so it takes less room on the truck.

Soil and rubble are weighed

Dirt, sod, brick and concrete are priced by weight rather than volume — flag them when booking.

Cut it down if you can

Long limbs cut to manageable lengths load far more efficiently and cost less.

Fence panels count

Old fencing and decking go on the same load as the green waste.

Book early after a storm

Availability tightens for several days once a storm has been through.

Storm brought half a tree down?

We clear what is on the ground. Get it cut and stacked by an arborist, and the haul-away can follow the same week.

Where we stop

We haul, we do not landscape

It is more useful to be clear about the boundary than to be vague about it. Cutting, pruning, felling and stump grinding are work for a landscaper or an arborist — trades with the right equipment, the right insurance and, for anything near a power line, the right licensing.

Once the material is on the ground, clearing it away is ours. In practice most people book the two in sequence: an arborist on Tuesday to take the limbs down, a truck on Thursday to take them away. If you are arranging both, ask the tree service whether haul-away is included, because many quote for the cutting only.

  • Cut material cleared from anywhere on the property
  • Fencing, decking and outdoor structures removed
  • Soil, sod and rubble taken as weighed loads
  • Same-day and next-day slots subject to the schedule

FAQ

Questions Dallas customers ask

Do you do the cutting and pruning as well?

No — we are a removal service rather than a landscaping one. Cutting, pruning and felling are for a landscaper or arborist; once the material is on the ground we clear it away.

Can you take soil, sod and rubble?

Yes, but they are priced by weight rather than by volume because a small pile of soil can outweigh a truckload of brush. Mention it when you book so the estimate is right and the truck arrives with the capacity.

Does it need to be bagged?

It helps but is not required. Bagged material loads faster and takes less space; loose brush is fine, and cutting long limbs down to shorter lengths makes a noticeable difference to both the time and the price.

Can you come after a storm?

Yes, and storm debris is one of the more common seasonal jobs. Availability is tighter in the days straight after a significant storm, so booking early in the window matters more than usual.

Will you take an old fence?

Yes. Panels, posts, gates and rotted decking all go on the same load as green waste. If posts are set in concrete, say so — digging them out is a different job from carrying panels away.

Is green waste composted or landfilled?

Clean green waste has established composting and mulching routes and is directed there where the load allows. Mixed loads with fencing, plastic or treated timber cannot go down that route and are handled as general waste instead.
